"Optic fiber Systems" JSC and CRPT started work as part of an experiment on optical fiber marking
On February 8, a representative of the CRPT (operator of the Chestny ZNAK state track & trace system) visited the plant. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the company and discuss organizational issues within the framework of the experiment on marking optical fibers and optical fiber cable.
The representative of the CRPT got acquainted with the production processes, the range of products and their traceability at all stages before shipment to consumers.
The company also received recommendations on how to work with labeling in the test circuit of the Chestny ZNAK system. The test circuit is a test version of the main system for testing business processes, training employees and tuning the company's software.
The next stage will be the integration of the internal system of traceability of "Optic fiber Systems" JSC products and the unified national system of labeling and traceability of goods " Chestny ZNAK ".
It is worth reminding that on December 1, 2023, an experiment on marking optical fibers and optical fiber cable was launched. During the year, the labeling of optical fibers and optical fiber cable will be tested and the traceability of the turnover of optical fiber products from the moment of production to the point of removal from production circle will be worked out.

“Optic fiber Systems” JSC (www.rusfiber.ru) – is the first and the only Russian plant manufacturing optical fiber. The plant is situated in Saransk, Mordovia Republic. It was officially opened on 25 September 2015. The shareholders of the company are RUSNANO, Gazprombank and the Government of Mordovia Republic.
Optical fiber is the main component of optic cables for signal transmission in modern communication networks. Fiber is also used as a sensor for monitoring deformation, temperature, acoustics and other indicators.
"Optic fiber Systems" JSC produces telecommunication optical fibers of standards G652 and G 657 A1 including those with reduced diameter of 200 microns; provides services on optical fiber coloring and the application of ring marks "ringmarking". Optical fibers of new types such as G651 and G655 are being prepared for release. Products are certified in Russia and the quality is confirmed by "Rostelecom" PJSC, Russia's leading cable companies and foreign consumers.
According to the results of certification, optical fiber was approved for use on the networks of the largest Russian Telecom operators Rostelecom, MTS, MegaFon and others.
Manufacturing capacity of the plant is 4 mln kilometers of optical fiber per year.
